Job Description:  Commercial Manager, North East England

SUMMARY:  Reports to Head of Commercial & Risk

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main duties and responsibilities of Commercial Manager include but are not limited to the following:

Implementing the commercial strategy according to the company goals and objectives.
Drafting bespoke agreements/contract documentation as required.
Reviewing all contractual documentation and recording.
Implementing and maintaining the commercial processes for the business.
Management and support to the TPI/Partner Channel.
Undertake business development in existing and potential sectors.
Risk management.
Claim and dispute management.
Preparation of monthly reports.
To represent the business in an exemplary fashion.
To attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
To adhere to and promote the Company Mission Statement and Core Values.
To ensure on all occasions that you observe safe working practices in order to satisfy Health & Safety at Work, Fire Procedures and other Statutory Legislation.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications:  
Further Education (A Levels or equivalent in a business-related subject). Essential
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline. Desirable
Experience:
Previous experience in a commercial role. Essential
Previous experience in the energy sector. Desirable
Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Process orientated.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Outstanding communication skills.
Good computer skills.
Adaptable to change within the business.
Ability to work as part of a team or on an individual basis.
Willingness to develop in-line with continuing professional development.
